Since 2000, the City of Ridgeland has seen a general population increase, but a loss of white residents.
Black and non-white Hispanic residents have entered the city at a steadily growing rate, and Ridgeland’s public schools have also reflected the change. Ridgeland is one of the most racially diverse cities in Madison County.
