Due to the uncertainty surrounding the Presidential Debate scheduled for Ole Miss, the Federation of Democratic Women reluctantly postpone the Women for Obama-Biden Forum.
As of 4:15 this afternoon we were still awaiting word regarding the postponement of the Presidential Debate. We needed to notify our food vendors by 5:00 PM today if we were changing or cancelling our orders. If not we would owe for our food orders. Since this involved over $7,000.00, we decided to error on the side of caution and cancelled the Forum.
The Federation will, upon request, refund donations received from all tickets holders. Please contact the person from whom you purchased your tickets for a refund. All credit card purchasers can contact me at 601-954-5457 or email: [e-mail missing]. Senator Alice V. Hardin can be reached at 601- 359-3998 (office) or 601-922-3426 (home).
Thank you for your support of the Obama-Biden Campaign and the Mississippi Federation of Democratic Women. Over 1,000 women and men purchased tickets to the Forum. Proving that Yes, We Can. Vote Obama-Biden on November 4.

They can't afford to take the risk. We should keep a running tally of the McCain idiocy fallout.

Man, that's rough. I'm sure those folks were depending on that money to make ends meet. Sad.
