Mr. Landis and Jackson,
Funkee Fanger Filmworks/Productions, Inc., Esq.,Co.,LLC,OPP,Yeah U Know Me (producers of the upcoming HBO Pay-Per-View event titled "Rumble In The Political Arena"—featuring City of Jackson officials and journalists) lyrically proposes this rough treatment/music video idea titled "Escape from Jacktown: Urban Flight."
It's close to sundown
and urban professionals hurry out of Jacktown
They rush to their cars
moving faster than the speed of sound
They scurry in fear
of a crime-ridden city at nighttime
The streets are clear
as unwanted elements press their way
Then I heard someone say ...
ESCAPE FROM JACKTOWN! URBAN FLIGHT!
You don't want to be caught downtown at night!
ESCAPE FROM JACKTOWN! URBAN FLIGHT!
Because it's like thrilla, thrilla, thrilla tonight!
Segue to a Vincent Price or James Earl Jones voice.
Darkness comes upon Jacktown. Urban Professionals are nowhere around. The streets are bare as a baby's behind because all the businesses close after 5. Is the city is dead because folk are scared, or are our negative thoughts crooks and killers? Maybe it's because we harbor in our minds that city nightlife is like that Michael Jackson music video called "THRILLER." Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !
Fade to black.
