The Mississippi Historic Preservation Professional Review Board will meet on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. in the boardroom on the third floor of the William F. Winter Archives and History Building in
Jackson. The review board will consider properties from around the state to recommend for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Those recommendations will be forwarded to the United States Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C., for a final review.
The Department of Archives and History is the official State Historic Preservation Office in Mississippi and handles all requests for National Register information and assistance.
