The Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau needs qualified applicants for the competition to be held April 10, 2004 at 921 North President St. Winner receives a $1,000 scholarship to a Mississippi college and will compete in the state pageant July 25-31, 2004, in Hattiesburg. First runner-up gets a $500 scholarship.
Qualifications:
Never married
Official resident of city of Jackson
2.5 scholastic average for last completed semester
Attend or plan to attend Mississippi college in the fall
Good communication skills and knowledge of Jackson history helpful.

This may be too much information, but... I had a dream that Knol and I were competing together for the title of Mr. and Miss Hospitality. It was very very strange. Clearly, I am in need of help. On the plus side, I think, in my dream, we were winning...
