Hey all, just a quick update on what's up with the JFP in 2004. In a word: lots. Our staff is growing, and our roster of advertisers is getting longer. We have a wide variety of exciting stories—from humorous narratives to in-depth investigations coming this year. We're covering the Legislature and increasing our coverage of the city and county. We're expanding our pool of columnists. Our fashion will be funkier than ever. You'll be seeing more humor, satire, comics and "back of the book" features, including one very cool page that I'm not going to tell you about, yet, that will launch in the next issue. We have a list of new features planned for the Web site. And, of course, our big 2004 Best of Jackson issue arrives Jan. 29. Meantime, remember that we took an extra week off for the holiday, so the next issue will on the streets Jan. 14. Of course, the dialogue and daily news, sports and culture updates will continue on the most active Web site in town (we're having our busiest week ever!). So, thanks for everything, and keep those comments and suggestions coming. And be sure you're on the Lounge List so you'll get updates about the myriad events happening in Jackson every day. Just enter your e-mail address on the top right corner of this page. Ciao!
