Today, November 2nd, Capitol Records releases two John Lennon albums: the new John Lennon Acoustic and a remixed and remastered version of Lennon's classic Rock 'n' Roll with bonus tracks, as well as George Harrison's The Dark Horse Years 1979-1992 DVD.
John Lennon Acoustic brings together some of the world's favorite acoustic Lennon tracks together on one album for the first time. Seven of the album's sixteen tracks are available for official release for the first time.
Lennon's classic Rock 'n' Roll, one of the most highly revered albums of his career, was originally released in 1975 and is now remixed and remastered with four bonus tracks and a new selection of black and white Lennon photographs in the booklet.
George Harrison's The Dark Horse Years 1979-1992 DVD includes performance and promotional videos, interview footage, a deluxe booklet with rare photographs and original Dark Horse illustrations, plus a history of the label written by Olivia Harrison.
And on November 16th, Capitol Records will release The Beatles' The Capitol Albums Volune 1, a remastered collection of the band's first four U.S. Capitol records: Meet the Beatles, The Beatles Second Album, Something New and Beatles '65.
