The Cootie Creek Fair hosts representatives of S.O.A.C. (Society of Angry Caucasians ) handing out propaganda to people passing by. Some folk stare curiously at the controversial figures while other folk just walk away.
Meanwhile, a large crowd gathers at the Qweem-O-Wheat Meals-On-Wheel Voter Registration Drive booth. Anyone who registers to vote gets a hot, qweemy, dee-wishious bowl of qweemy Qweem-O-Wheat. Touched by the large assembly, Qweem-O-Wheat addresses the people.
"This is a profound moment—good people registering to vote in the names of peace, justice and Qweem-O-Wheat. It's like Martin Luther King's 'dweem,' baby!
Dr. King told me about it after I fed him a hot, qweemy bowl of Qweem-O-Wheat about 40 years ago. Before he spoke at the march on Washington, D.C., he told me that difficult times face our nation as some folk continue to hold on to their hatred and fear of progress and equality like a wino clutches his bottle of Thunda Burd. My "dweem" is that folks against progress and equality of the oppressed seek tweetment and sober up.
And oppressed victims, remember what Bob Marley said to me, after I fed him a hot bowl of Qweem-O-Wheat at the government yard in Twenchtown: 'Stand up fo' yo' rights!'
"So don't give up the fight. Get out and vote! Thank ya!"
