JACKSON, Miss. -- Mayoral candidates Harvey Johnson and Frank Melton are calling Sunday's face-to-face debate a success.
More than 300 people turned out for debate at Murrah High School.
Jackson residents George and Nellie Woodard attended hoping get a clearer picture of the candidates.
"I don't want to give a hint as to who we're backing, but we learned a lot," said George Woodward.
Johnson and Melton addressed why people seem to be leaving Jackson for the suburbs.
