Who knew that Bush could piss off the Right just as much as the Left with one little Supreme Court Justice Nominee.
"Please, Please Mr. President, I read a book last year, Can I be the Secretary of Education??? PUH-LEASE?"
"No, I don't know you. You don't know Jesus. And, I'm not quite sure if I was indicted that you would know how to defend me, or be in a position to cover my ass. Now, fly away little bothersome CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES"

This is to welcome Ali as our newest official blogger (and make this appear in the Recent Comments so everyone knows it). Be sure to visit Ali's JFP blog here. And keep an eye out: more are on the way. As for the goose ... it is remarkable to see how many people are now pissed off at Bush. The house of cards is tumbling.

Oh, now, this could get interesting....Ali with a front page blog. I agree wholeheartedly, Ali, about Bush's suggested appointment to fill Sandra Day O'Connor's shoes. While there is an argument that she has all the same qualifications that Renquhist had when he took the bench, given the fact that she is already part of Bush's 'inner circle'... it just smacks of a Mike Brown/FEMA appointment all over again...I think you'd make an excellent Secretary of Education. And, hey, some of my best friends are First Nations (American Indian) people; perhaps I can get a post as Director of the Bureau for Indian Affairs?
