I just got an alert that the Mississippi Democratic Party has launched a blog. Good for them for joining the blogosphere. Y'all ought to go help them get a conversation going. It's a good opportunity for Mississippi progressives to tell the state Democratic Party what we think they need to do. ;-)
I've said it before, I'll say it many times more probably ...
I am NOT going to become a Democrat, even if it is the more "progressive" party at the moment, if the Dems keep slinking around trying to out-Republican wingnut Republicans. It's not about being nutball liberal; it's about believing in progress and not being ashamed of it. So I like this tagline:
AND PROUD OF IT!
A New Beginning. A New Day.
Looking to the Future. Mindful of the Past.
I hope this blog bodes well for the party's future in the state. Hold their feet to the fire, people. And a good place to start is on their blog. ;-)

Also, I see the state's Young Democrats have a nice-looking blog -- but NO ACTIVITY. They need people over there talking about issues, not just meeting times. Maybe y'all Blogger Extraordinaires of the Highest Order oughta go over and help the young donkeys out a little, too. Show 'em how it's done. ;-)

I went to the MS Dems blog, but I don't know how to blog. Why no instructions . . .? How does one post comments . . .? nighty night.
