Another great "Speaking of Faith" program this morning, featuring memoirist and novelist Anchee Min who left Communist China in 1984 to come to the U.S. The program delves into way the communist regime twisted the beliefs and spirituality of the Chinese people for political aims—and how she re-found her faith in the U.S. A lovely show today. Give it a listen.

Also, I must plug again last week's program, "Seeing Poverty After Katrina," which is a breathtaking interview with Dr. David Hilfiker, a doctor in inner-city Washington, D.C. Please, please listen to it and read excerpts from his book, linked to on the site.
