Thank you! I always thought I wasn't a hat person because I hardly wore them. That may soon change...

Wow. Man, who you tellin? When they handed those photos to me, I wondered who in the world I was looking at. I'm usually the low-maintenance type, but, er uh, I may have to rethink that a little.

I think you look wonderful L.W. Of course you should rethink not being glamorous....why not! Show the world that you are beautiful inside and out. I'm sure it will help with the confidence issue you've discussed before. Great Shots!

three words L.W.- Fab-YOU-Lous!!! These are fantastic. I love hats and have an entire collection. and you fo-sho can be a hat person whenever you want to. I battled low-maintanence vs. glam for a while. I know that the GLAM thang can go 2 ways. We want people to see us for who we really are- intelligent, funny, political, caring- and not as objects. Even though I love dressing up, I found myself dressing down to not get attention when I went out. However I realized- there's nothing wrong with getting dolled up and showing off some of our best assetts either. As long as I'm doing it for me, mostly:), and not to validate myself through the attentions of others. That being said- I knew you were wonderful when I read your pieces and was pleased to meet you a few weeks ago. Now we also know you're a F.O.X. Embrace it!! (But you'll still catch me in a baseball cap and "wifebeater" most days- sorry inside joke for the gals that Saturday...)

Hmmmm, I find this interesting. Never considered there being any reason not to look Glamourous. Never thought about the glam look interfering with people seeing or knowing the real you. Never encountered that problem. Umm, interesting. Don't own any baseball caps myself and I actually find it a chore to wear sneakers. So, to each his/her own. However, I still think that even if you are a low maintenance type of chic, still every now and then it's nice to go above and beyond just to remind yourself that you are beautiful. For me that would be each day, but I digress. Way to go again, Latasha. You look great! Suggestion, why don't you start "dressing up" once a week...see what that does for your inner peace! Try it!
