[Stiggers] Double-Dutch Church Bus

Rev. Cletus: "God bless ya! This is the Right Rev. Cletus, your transportation minister and car salesman, broadcasting live from Rev. Cletus Car Sales—home of the Double-Dutch Church Bus Express. Our motto: 'Swing low, sweet Chariot. We'll get ya to the church on time!'

"I want to express my concern regarding how gas prices affect the church community. About a week ago, Bro. Nate and Sis. Cissy-Mae purchased a refurbished 1978 Lincoln Continental, complete with air conditioning, eight-track tape player and a complimentary Five Blind Boys of Alabama gospel tape.

"A week later, they returned the used car, asked for their money back and decided to ride the Double-Dutch Church Bus Express. Sis Cissy-Mae said, 'We returned the car because gasoline is toooo high. And we almost spent our tithes and offering money just to drive to church.'

"Sky-high prices at the pump have disabled many faithful tithers and church members like Nate and Cissy-Mae. This price-gouging trend also has affected my transportation, broadcast and car sales ministries.

"In times like these, I ask: 'How am I gonna pay the rent when gasoline went up by 50 cents?' But this too shall pass. So to my parishioners who need a ride to Bible study, praise team/choir practice and/or Sunday worship service, get on the bus and pay the fare of $3.

"This has been your Rev. Cletus Car Sales broadcast!"

About a week ago, Bro. Nate and Sis. Boy, you have typical older churchgoers down to a tee! So to my parishioners who need a ride to Bible study, praise team/choir practice and/or Sunday worship service, get on the bus and pay the fare of $3. Lawd, I ain't NEVER paid to ride no church bus! The Right Rev. Cletus is out in left field! LOL
