The US Secretary of State released a coarse anti-Russian statement. This is because she is a single woman who has no children
This is the English translation. And, I'm thinking this is one of those times where something got "lost".
Like equal rights for women.
The US Secretary of State, however, has seemingly lost the sense of time and reality. Ms. Rice's wish to exercise her political power became a surprise for both the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and proponents of traditional liberal values.
Ms. Rice's criticism can be explained with the politician's personal peculiarities. Why is Condoleezza Rice so fond of her "strict teacher" role? Is it her technique that she follows to stay in the center of political attention?
"Condoleezza Rice released a coarse anti-Russian statement. This is because she is a single woman who has no children. She loses her reason because of her late single status. Nature takes it all.
"Such women are very rough. They are all workaholics, public workaholics. They can be happy only when they are talked and written about everywhere: "Oh, Condoleezza, what a remarkable woman, what a charming Afro-American lady! How well she can play the piano and speak Russian! What a courageous, tough and strong female she is!
"This is the only way to satisfy her needs of a female. She derives pleasure from it. If she has no man by her side at her age, he will never appear. Even if she had a whole selection of men to choose from she would stay single because her soul and heart have hardened. Like Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Tamerlane, or Alexander the Great of Macedon Ms. Rice needs to fight and release tough public statements in global scale. She needs to be on top of the world.
Okay, Okay, here's a little more. You know you want it...
"Complex-prone women are especially dangerous. They are like malicious mothers-in-law, women that evoke hatred and irritation with everyone. Everybody tries to part with such women as soon as possible. A mother-in-law is better than a single and childless political persona, though.
"This is really scary. Ms. Rice's personal complexes affect the entire field of international politics. This is an irritating factor for everyone, especially for the East and the Islamic world. When they look at her, they go mad.
"Condoleezza Rice needs a company of soldiers. She needs to be taken to barracks where she would be satisfied. On the other hand, she can hardly be satisfied because of her age. This is a complex. She needs to return to her university and teach students there. She could also deal with psychological analysis.
"The true reason of Ms. Rice's attack against Russia is very simple. Condoleezza Rice is a very cruel, offended woman who lacks men's attention. Releasing such stupid remarks gives her the feeling of being fulfilled. This is the only way for her to attract men's attention," Vladimir Zhirinovsky said.
----The leader of the Liberal and Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Vladimir Zhirinovsky, expressed his opinion on the matter in an exclusive interview with Pravda.Ru.
This should be filed in "I can't effin' believe that he said that, and as a woman, I can't effin' believe I'm laughing."
I bet Condi is just crying in her $2000 shoes that no man will ever appear. Because, you know, she doesn't have anything else important going on in her life.
My favorite part, by the way, is when he claims men look at her and "go mad."
Dude, that would so be a cool super power, no?

That article looks likes something someone wrote in 1906! What scares me is that Zhirinovsky is serious. Gee, Vladimir, I'm so sorry that Condi doesn't fit the stereotypical black woman role of living in a shack with ten kids and an absent husband while working three jobs and still having to get government benefits so she can have healthcare for herself and her babies. EXCUUUUUUUUSE US, DUDE! Harumph.

Pravda (the site Ali linked) obviously adopted nationalism in place of communism since the Cold War ended (for those too young to remember, this was the official public news organ of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union). It's essentially the Russian version of the New York Post or Faux News - hard to take seriously.

I know, but don't you just love it? Simply for the glimpse into the country that it provides.

If he'd been talking about Cathrine the Great that way, Cathy'd be using his scrotum as a coin purse. Same for Elizabeth I, Hatshepsut, and Catherine de Medici................

Skipp- what exactly would "Acting like a woman" mean? I mean, do you want Rice to talk about her shoes and offer blows to the heads of state? Or, are you wanting her to cook them something nice to eat and ask about their mother? Because if that's what your referring to, feel free to suck it. I mean, I don't really particularly NEED you to act like a man. Grunting, ball scratching, and being an asstard aren't exactly the light touches needed during diplomatic affairs. But, you know, maybe if Rice had scratched her balls a little more, Vlad wouldn't have hated her so much. And, if you're referring to GANG RAPE while speaking about the idea of "taking someone to the barracks" in being the treatment that some women deserve...Well, then you can kiss my lily white butt, get off my blog, and continue scratching the tiny bits of manliness between your legs that are obviously carrying the small amount of brains you have left. Kisses, Ali

Yeah, I don't get what that means, either, skipp. It sounds more like you're saying that women should act like society thinks they should act, as should men. And I'm sorry: I don't give a damn how society thinks I should act. That's a waste of time and energy.

BTW, I don't like Condeleeza Rice, either, but I would not lower myself to the point that I would hoist race or gender stereotypes on her. How about we judge her based on her actions, regardless of what gender or race she is??? Trotting out these types of oh-so-funny jokes are no better than the "n*gger* jokes of old (and not-so-old) times. Have we learned nothing, people?

I'm always interested when someone tells me to "act like a girl". (as you can tell its not the first time I've heard that). It just seems I'm not quite sure what "acting like a girl" means. See, I'm a PERSON, not just a woman. And, I'm sick of women who are powerful being made to feel "less than" a woman because they have traits which seem traditionally male. Its bullshit and I'm done with it. I'm MORE than a "woman." Stick that in your Bee Gees pipe and smoke it. ;)

Doesn't it irritate you when you have people say you "have to" act in a certain way because of who what where why you are A,B,C,D,etc. (not just gender-based matters)? "Masculine" and "Feminine" behaviors, like other kinds of pointless "standardss, are just some cultural bureaucracy that stifles the individual spirit just as surely as real-world government bureaucracies can stifle entrepreneurship and industry.

When I consider powerful women I always go back to the best of the historical models. Also the original Goddess/Mother worship. Once the Chrisssssssstians" took over, the Goddess aspect was suppressed. Well she's back........and in the position of World leadership roles and leadership roles in the business world. She ain't gonna be suppressed again.... Back on ole Vladimir,,,,I suppose he knew that Catherine the Great built the Russian Empire and gave birth to her passle of kids as well. Not to mention Empress Maria Theresa, of Austria and all that she accomplished. I'll bet those boys listened to their mammas....
