Summer Play "Got the Whole World in His Hands"

Genesis & Light Center reports the following:

"This summer, Albert Wilson and Genesis & Light Center's Summer of Drama 2006 project will be performing it's 7th hit stage-play entitled "Got the Whole World in His Hands" and we are asking you to do a story on our Drama group. This powerful production will be performed on Friday, July 21st at 10AM or 6:30 PM or Saturday, July 22nd at 6:30 PM - at the Alamo Theater.
This play deals with at risk youth experiencing the ups/downs and joy/pains that all youth must go through. The plot of the play is about a group of at risk young men involved in car burglaries. While the young ladies engage in blind dates with older adults over the internet which is uncovered by their Grandma who just loves the Lord. You thought your family was funny wait until you see Granny and Uncle Bootsy and you will never complain about your family again. This production has a story we all can relate to, written just for you and all ages will enjoy. This play will enlighten youth of God's plan for their lives, enhances art education, and helps youth to appreciate and value themselves and others whom God has planted in their lives. This dramatical performance will enlighten youths of the detriments of the internet, peer pressures, alcohol and drugs, crime and other at-risk behaviors while relating positive conflict resolution skills, life lessons, and biblical solutions.

"As always, our goal is to promote education, values, positive attitudes, high levels of self-esteem, and strengthen these students and their families in such a way to avoid a life of crime or on welfare. The objective of this project is to decrease and discourage youth involvement in sex, drugs, crimes, violence or other juvenile behaviors.

Thanks,
Albert Wilson, Founder & Executive Director"
