Combines, the new remix E.P. from Swedish indiepop faves Shout Out Louds, is available now at iTunes and other digital retailers and is available on CD at select indie retailers for the month of June.
The five-track E.P. features four remixes from the group's critically-adored 2005 debut album, Howl Howl Gaff Gaff, and one brand new song, "I Meant to Call."
"Since this E.P. has nothing to do with our next album it's almost like a side project for us," says Shout Out Louds singer Adam Olenius. "This past year we met many musicians who we wanted to collaborate with and it's an honor to work with great bands like Architecture in Helsinki and Ratatat."
"It was also very important for us to work with our friends from Stockholm – both Harlem and Konstruction and Subliminal Kid are making very beautiful and interesting music."
Shout Out Louds will play a series of European festivals this summer, then return to Stockholm in October to record the follow-up to Howl Howl Gaff Gaff with producer Bjorn Yttling (The Concretes, Moneybrother).
