Donna, I have to say that I don't normally watch the local news until 10p.m.---- But with you on there and the subject matter, I can't wait to watch this.

Doctor S predicts Mayor Melton will try to shut down WAPT sometime before 5 p.m. on Wednesday. You are SO wrong! :-P Anyway, Donna, I'll try to catch it. I usually watch WJTV at 5 and WAPT at 6, but that shouldn't be hard to change. ;-)

I don't. I have to be there at 4:45; that's all I know. Sometime between 5 and 5:30 -- but you knew that! And, Lance, the whole 6 a.m. thing on WLBT was bizarre. I live in an "alternative" universe. We just don't get up that early often. It was dark when I drove there! Icky. ;-) But I sure did like the two anchors, Dawn and Wilson. They both seem very intelligent. They asked to me to come back, which I said I would be happy to do. I managed to talk (clearly, I hope) about the need for public servants to be accountable, though, I hope.

that is surely a topic that needs to discussed more...public servants and accountability to the public. next year is a HUGE election year and elected officials and candidates need to understand that the people are fed up with non-accountability.

I saw you today. You did yurself and us proud. Thanks for being a voice in this wilderness. As more people start reading JFP maybe we can see some changes. I wonder does FM read it. He really could learn a few things.

Thanks, jada. ;-) TV goes so fast; I thought I sounded dumb. But I just listened to the tape, and it was fine. I wish we'd had more time to talk about open records, which we'd planned to do. Next time. I dunno, Knol. I think they often re-broadcast at 10. We taped it here, though, if you're really interested.

Tee, hee, Doc. Who knew? Hey, you wanna talk about accountability of public servants, I'm there in all my need-a-vacation glory! And, no, Mr. Melton didn't shut WAPT down today, although rumor has it he told Joyce Brewer to stop looking so damn sexy. ;-)

I think you should upload both the WLBT and WAPT segments. I missed the WLBT one.
