Here is the link to my interview with Tyler Perry that appears in the Clarion Ledger's weekend section today.
It addresses the details of his journey, including the downs he experienced before his much-deserved success.

You know, I just realized that Jackson has alot going on this weekend. Alot to choose from. The Tyler Perry play, the comedy show, Crossroads Film Festival, big Fairground Sale (grin) and local performances. Definitely not going to be a boring next four days.

Q: Has it been hard to combine personal and professional goals? A: I plan on writing a new chapter in my journal of life. You know, Tyler Perry, the family man. That's my next major goal, to find a wife who's balanced and have four or five kids. I've already been furnishing the nursery. As I've said before, I've put my private life on hold for too long because I wanted success. I wanted something to offer to my woman and my children. Now that I'm at that point where I feel like I have a little bit to offer, I'm ready to be a good husband and a good father, I know I can do it. So, he's available? :-P

L.W., I---- I don't know that. I have had people ask me about that statement. All I can say is that those are his words verbatim. As you probably know, he is very careful of his words, and like to check everything before it goes out. In a case like this I email them the questions, get their answers and have to guarantee that it won't be changed. I guess he is saying that he is..., but I can't say for sure.
