Donna, I just listened to your interview with Cam Edwards. You did a great job (as always) with formulating ideas for others to arrive at their own conclusion. FM has gone too far into waters that are too deep for a rational and logical return to a position as Mayor of the City of Jackson. This man has said to this community, "I AM NOT A MAYOR." Could this be so simple that all we need to do is simply ask for his resignation? I know that there are others who might try to keep him in this position for the next 3 yrs. to protect their salaries but, FM knows that he is at the end of his rainbow. He said, "I'VE HAD A HARD WEEK AND I NEED A HUG." Translation: FM has torn this City apart and he needs a strait-jacket.

Thanks, Cam. We're on it. To the rest of you, thanks for the comments. I think this is a perfect example of people with very different views coming together to look at a situation that is very dangerous. I'm not exactly an NRA gal -- which Cam and I laughed a bit about before hand -- but we agree that guns should be handled safely and legally. And I would fully expect real conservatives to be concerned about search-and-seizure, constitutional rights and liberties, and so on. The more spotlights from different places shined on Mr. Melton, the more likely he is to drop the "bizarre" behavior and start being a mayor.
