Okay, here's another article in a series to be named "Another Thing Wrong With This Country"
The plastic surgeon who plays himself on "Dr. 90210" helped restrain another passenger on a flight when he became "unruly".
There are two statements to which one must pay distinct attention when perusing this article:
1) "When you get a black belt, at that stage your brain just clicks into action," the doctor said. "I restrained this gentleman in a very aggressive way without hurting him."
2) Flight crew members described the man as "very frail," Sanez said. He had been scheduled to board a connecting flight to Singapore after landing in Los Angeles. (The guy was also 80-years-old and did not speak English)
So basically, this middle aged doctor is blaming his split second decision to physically assault an 80-year-old man on his "black belt training". What they don't tell you is the flight attendants stopped him just as he was dragging the man's body back to the galley to begin the afeared "Chinese Water Torture" with those little tiny bottles of water.
Please, Dr. Rey, we all want to be ninjas. We do. I think about it daily. Especially since I look so delicious in black.
But jumping someone's grandpa in first class does not a ninja make. It just makes you an a$$hole.
Please read article all the way to the end...you have to wait for this greatness.
Rey also appears as himself on a Carl's Jr. commercial in which he advises a chicken to undergo breast augmentation surgery.
I know with absolute certainty the AP writer had seen that commercial and was simply waiting for the moment when he could throw that little bit of derision into an article.

I'll bite on this one. The only thing I can think of is he saw the old man push a stewardess and move towards the cockpit door. Sorry but I think since 9/11 if you get on a plane, act violent, and rush towards the cockpit door, you are taking your safety into your own hands and should not be surprised if you get jumped. May not like it but that is the reality of things now. of course, I wouldn't have been bragging about it either. I would've just said "unfortunate situation, no one was hurt, that is the main thing" and then I would've walked off.
