We have just posted an online petition where you can sign on—and choose to have an e-mail sent directly to the management of the Clarion-Ledger, telling them that you value independent media and do not appreciate how they have tried to control our distribution.
You can also download a petition (PDF) then get it signed by your friends or co-workers and fax it to the Clarion-Ledger at 601-961-7025. Thanks for your support!

I am strongly in support of the free press and independent media. The "Jackson Free Press" is providing a great venue for public opinion, creative expression, as well as events and small business promotion. It is a deplorable event in journalism when a huge media out-let such as the Clarion-Ledger attempts to put a stopper on freedom of the press and expression -- first amendment rights... rights that are in fact excercised by the Clarion-Ledger itself on a daily basis.
