Watch this TV ad for U.S. Senate candidate Bob Corker very carefully. The pattern is very simple--each of the actors says something about Corker's (black) opponent, Rep. Harold Ford (D-TN), intended for comic effect (e.g., "I do have too many guns").
Each of the actors except one, who also happens to be the only actor to appear in the ad twice.
Corker, to his credit, has condemned the RNC ad:
...but immediately afterwards, Corker for Senate aired a radio ad that plays organ music while discussing Corker...and jungle drums while discussing Ford.
The Southern Strategy is not dead, nor doth it sleep.
