Day 4: Partial Verdict Not Revealed

Reporting by Brian Johnson

According to Judge Webster, the jury has reached a unanimous decision on 10 of the 11 charges; there is one charge that they can't reach a verdict on. Webster, at the behest of defense council, instructed the jury to return to deliberations to determine whether or not they feel they will be able to reach a unanimous verdict on the remaining charge. None of the verdicts were revealed and the court stands again in recess.

What the hell is the difference if they read all the verdicts now or not. It will not change the verdicts already on paper. Or COULD it?

My guess is that the defense doesn't want the defendants to have to come back into the courtroom to hear one last verdict read...totally guessing.

Don't forget the we got new FBI Director. This may signal that Melton is not going to have his FBI ties through Joe Jackson anymore. Joe Jackson, who headed the FBI in Mississippi, refused to investigate the matter and soon retired from the FBI. Just days after his retirement from the FBI, Melton hired Jackson as executive vice president at WLBT, though Jackson had no television experience.

After that speech, why didn't the judge throw out the verdict? The law is clear.

I have to agree with you LawClerk. I am out of here too, the sooner the better. There is no justice in Jackson.

Wow... wasn't he told to remove the blue lights from his personal car? His 300M just flashed it's lights and turned on it's sirens... no biggie though. It doesn't really matter. It's going to get bad guys. Real bad. He can do whatever he wants. Get ready.

Not a fix, not an alternative universe, and the fat lady didn't fart 11 times. It was a fair trial -- and the defense won, fair and square.. You can't say Judge Webster wasn't fair... he blocked their first three witnesses and ruled against them more times than not. So GET over it... THE JURY made a statement... Deal with it! Good night.... and GET A LIFE.

Mommish is my hero. The trial was just as fair as any trial can be. Faye got beat like a drum. That's it. Call your mom and cry about it if it helps.
