Sign up now for my 2008 creative non-fiction writing classes. The next round starts Jan. 3, and I have still have a couple slots in that class (until I hear from all you gift-certificate recipients!). Yes, I do gift certificates year-round (sold one today to a mother buying the class for her daughter), and you can use those anything throughout the year. You can see details about upcoming classes here, as well as costs, etc. In 2008, we will start meeting in the brand-new JFP classroom next to the JFP offices (or, as Doctor S likes to say, in the "JFP tower") here in Fondren. Please e-mail me at class (a) jacksonfreepress (dot) com to get on the class mailing list for updates.

but what’s a girl to do in California? I enjoyed my 101 and 202 class. I would take them again but I have moved and the commute would be a killer. If i could keep up the motivation to write that a class offers while not in a class you would all certainly know my name and have been undoubtedly moved by my elegant, entertaining prose. no for real, lets all do ourselves a favor and the world a favor and resolve to express ourselves-- to get the crap out, to find some inner peace!, to see what happens when we develop relationships with inanimate objects that don't have screens. you know, like paper and pens and markers and paints and clay and earth. I recently discovered that its possible to create "gadgets" on my google home page, little bits of text or picture that become part of google.com on my computer. I made a list I see every time I go to find the answers to my life's burning questions. I want to share it, you know, in the name of expression. Reasons to create: 1) Emotional Expression 2) Comfort in company 3) Enlightened Entertainment 4) Endless Exploration 5) kindling kundalini 6) manifest destiny
