The Clarion-Ledger is reporting that Rep. Leonard Morris has died:
State Rep. Leonard Morris, D-Batesville, who was head of the House Medicaid Committee, has died. Morris, 59, a married father of two, died this evening, according to fellow House members. He had been admitted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center several days ago and had a kidney tumor removed.
Update: Visitation is from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. today (Monday, Jan. 15) at Concord Baptist Church in Batesville.
