I remember she played the Budweiser tent at the State Fair one year (around '96 or so). It was a totally free concert and I was very familiar with her having owned one of her albums. I didn't friggin' go. I've done some dumb stuff, but that one comes close to taking the cake. She's so good that one of the Z106 (Classic Rock, mind you) DJs got on the air and let people know that they NEEDED to go see her.
