I meant to share these the day of the parade, which was October 27, but due to procrastination, I'm just now finishing up the online photo album. Here are some of the pictures I took:
Even though I graduated from Tougaloo instead of JSU, I still have a lot of respect for JSU because of its historical and cultural significance. JSU is Mississippi's premier urban university, and its continued development will have a positive effect on downtown development and the revitalization of Jackson as a whole.

Thanks, Ms. Willis! I was in "Minnysoda" and missed all the fun. I'm not a JSU alum either, but have respect for the institution.

You're welcome, Will. I also knew several people in the parade, most of them children. My nephew is in the band and JROTC at his high school, and the JROTC participated this year. Last year was his first time in the parade, and he was in his middle school's band.
