Great win for JSU, but I don't understand why Alcorn would fire Dr. Johnny Thomas. Before this season, he had six straight winning seasons. I felt that he should've been fired, it would've been after the 2000 season, when the Braves went 0-11. Reminds me of when David Cutcliffe was fired from Ole Miss for having one losing season after having winning seasons in each of his first five seasons (though the firing was more of him not doing what Pete Boone wanted him to do, and that was make changes on the coaching staff).
