It looks like Mississippi State is about to "do that thang" to the University of Mississippi. The rotten Egg Bowl should have some real excitement this year with one team clearly improving and the other one liking nothing better than to beat the other to make thier season. If Ole Miss wins the game at least their graduates can declare despite the bad seasons, they beat Mississippi State, their real duty in Mississippi. Go DAWGS. I'm neutral though! He, he.

Mississippi State needs to hit and hurt Shaeffer, Ole Miss quarterback, else they may get upset. I don't have a dog in the fight, but those dogs in the fight need to be concerned about getting run on and upset.

Mississippi State has allowed Ole Miss come to Starkville and hold them scoreless for the 1st half while also scoring a touchdown. I'm shcoked! Is this game rigged? Has Scruggs used some of that money to fix the game? If Ole Miss wins their fans from down south better not drive thru Louisville, my hometown, else I'll have some of my relatives to egg their cars. And if they get out the cars to give them an a__whupping too, to boot. I may have the troopers and Louisville cops to ticket them.

I don't think I can watch this crap any longer. State's practically giving this game to Ole Miss. The Nebraska at Colorado game is looking a lot more interesting at this point.

I understand Jeff. With just a little bit better passing and kicking Ole Miss would have 10 more points. A blowout is looming. I'm gonna have to let this loss go to you and Donna, not me too. I'm neutral for real now.

With a little bit better catching the ball by Ole Miss they would likely have 17 more points by now.

I hope so. I want Pikersam, et al, to remain sad and hurt for at least 6-9 more months. Ole Miss' team has impressed me though. I see lots of talent on that team.

It's still to early to celebrate although the score is tied. I'd wait until the end and celebrate only if I have the most points.

I just caught that amazing punt return TD by State to tie up the game! That dude threaded thru 4 OM defenders like they were standing still! GO STATE!

Ole Miss chokes again. But it wasn't their quarteback's fault. He played great - made good runs and passes. Ole Miss' recivers were too inept or chicken to catch the ball when it counted. If you can't stand a little pain join the choir.

Like I stated earlier, we were practically giving Ole Pis$ the game for nearly 3 quarters. Defense was doing its job. I wonder if the rumors I hear that *The O* will soon join Dr. Thomas in the "ex-head coach" class in the next couple of weeks might be true.

He shouldn't be fired. They played a good game today, a good game against LSU, a good game against Kentucky too, I think. They're on the verge of being really competitive. He should be give 2 more years.

Pike, you're alright for an Ole P!ss grad. You know what they say: Some of my best friends are Ole Miss grads. Our ugly, discriminatory comments about Ole Miss clearly doesn't apply to the people we like. (smile)

Just to remind you it was State that choked last year. State and UM should be embarrassed anyway for not playing USM anymore.

I know... I can take it. I did go there fo my undergraduate degree, so as a fan this was an ugly loss. We deserve to ridiculed. Nevertheless, we are really bad, and our coach is a joke. //*going to hang myself on my red and blue tie now*

State and UM should be embarrassed anyway for not playing USM anymore. I don't think they're brave enough to schedule us. The one time I root for LSU, they let me down. I always root for Arkansas in this game, but I wanted LSU to win in order to keep Ohio State from sneaking into the title game should the winner of Kansas/Missouri lose to Oklahoma in the Big XII title game and West Virginia lose to either Connecticut or Pittsburgh.
