What we didn't see on the TV coverage: Croom grabbed a 10-foot flag emblazoned with the school logo following the Egg Bowl's frenetic final seconds and jogged around the field, celebrating his first winning season as a head coach.

That was an amazing game to watch in the final quarter. It reminds me of the Cardiac Dogs from the late 90s that would find ways to come from behind and win. No, Donna, I have not jumped on the MSU bandwagon; this is just my once-a-year cheer for the Bulldogs.

As a lifelong die-hard LSU fan (and yeah, that stings right now) I've never held allegiance to any Mississippi public university. But mad props to Coach Croom and his Dawgs. When they opened the season against LSU they quoted him as saying "before this season is over we will be a winning team." By damn, he's done it, and in high fashion. Well played Sylvester, well played indeed.

He shouldn't be fired. They played a good game today, a good game against LSU, a good game against Kentucky too, I think. They're on the verge of being really competitive. He should be give 2 more years. - Ray C (from another thread) Breaking news: 'The O' is *out* as of this evening. Man, they didn't waste any time! My Ole P!ss friends predicted that it would probably be middle of next week. I guess losing to us hastened the firing to this afternoon.

It's just a game. Why are they acting like they're Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama or one of the Florida team? Are they used to losing? They need to cut the crap!
