Why did they fire the man? He did what most others have done! Aren't they perennial losers anyway? They're no Notre Dame LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Nebraska or big 3 from Florida! Losing is what they do so why blame anyone? Losers lose, don't they?

Right about now, Ole Miss is about as good (or bad) as Notre Dame. Actually, they have identical records now.

Ray-- Most coaches would not have gone for it on 4th-and-1 from their own 49 leading by two touchdowns with ten minutes to go in the game.

As bad as Ole Miss is right now they could beat Notre Dame, Bama, Nebraska, FSU, or Miami on any given day. The perennial powers just aren't what they used to be since everyone has 85 scholarships. As for the call. Some coaches would have gone for 4th and 1, but some coaches have an offensive line that can get it for them. Everyone in the stadium knew they would try run it right up the middle.
