Today Sid Salter stooped to the level of garden-variety anonymous bloggers today with his belittlement of Attorney General Jim Hood's legitimate concern about the corporate media that pays his paycheck. Nice effort to change the subject, Sid; I'm surprised you didn't find a way to work Jesse Jackson into your whine.
Paranoia, indeed.
Good for Hood to calling out The Clarion-Ledger for being exactly what they are: a pitiful corporate-media shill. Let's continue that conversation; it's a real one that needs to happen in this state.
Back during the Killen trial, Hood performed like a trained seal — basking in the glow of the spotlight and digging it when he made CNN and the rest of the 24-hour news cycles.
I love it. Does Sid realize that Hood IS a publicly-elected official in this state? Hood is one of the few officials who makes a credible and viable effort to let the public know about everything he's got in the works with press conferences, press releases, media interviews. It's no longer, disseminating information, rather "basking in the light." The rest of that gar-bage is too small-minded to even make an intelligent case against it.

"A trained seal"!?! All this because Hood dared to question the precious international media conglomerate, The Clarion-Ledger. Don't look now, Sid Vicious, you've got Korporate Koolaid all over your face!?! And, yes, it's green.
