Nurse Tootie McBride: "If you work a full-time job, live in a financially challenged neighborhood (aka the ghetto) and want to join a labor union, become a member of the Ghetto Workers' Labor Union #776 and 3/22.
"I want to meet with you today because I feel your frustration, desperation and disappointment. As chairwoman of the GWLU #776 and 3/22, I'm here to make this bumpy ride on the train called the 'Trickle Down Economic Express' more tolerable.
"I want you all to understand that we're caught up in a cycle of abusea whirlpool composed of greed, selfishness, intolerance and spite. The abusive cycle manifested during the recent presidential campaign, and then rolled over into the holiday season. The people who 'haveҗyou know who they arereceive immediate financial assistance, while the people who 'have not' get blamed for everything.
"Just as I speak, union workers somewhere in the Midwest have lost their jobs, medical benefits and severance pay. These folk cannot go to Washington, D.C.like the CEOs you've heard about in the newsand receive a bailout loan.
"As we wait to board the train called 'Change and Hope,' the GWLU #776 and 3/22 will help fellow union members cope in uncertain times. Therefore, I invite all ghetto workers' labor-union members to use the McBride Family Center for Displaced, Depressed and Disgusted Union Workers. Computer training and access are available, courtesy of Aunt Tee Tee Hustle.
