Ways to Give

The Good Samaritan Center needs people to adopt a child, adopt a family, bring some canned goods or a ham by or donate monetarily and they will do the shopping! They have hundreds and hundreds of gifts to buy and lots of food to purchase in order to provide holiday food baskets. We all know that times are tough but if there is anything you can do, please contact Kathy Clem, Executive Director, The Good Samaritan Center, Inc., Jackson, MS 39202, 601-355-6276, goodsamaritancenter.org.

Every year, The Neighborhood Christian Center and people just like you provide hundreds of families with everything they need to serve Christmas dinner and this year. You can provide dinner for an entire family with a gift of only $35.00! Each family will receive a box of food that includes: 3 cans each of whole corn, cream corn, green beans, peas, 4 boxes of Macaroni and Cheese, 2 cans of evaporated milk, 1 pound of margarine, 1 can of cranberry sauce, cake mix, 1 box of cake frosting as well as 5lbs each of flour, corn meal, sugar and one baking hen.During this time of economic uncertainty it is now even more important than ever to take care of those who are in need. This year, NCC is providing an opportunity to give a gift to a needy family and your loved ones at the same time. Give a gift in honor of a friend or family member then simply print a card indicating the gift you donated in their name. Just print, fold, sign and send!
