Chef Fat Meat: "Despite all the terrible things that poor and middle-class folks have suffered throughhome foreclosures, job layoffs, natural disasters, loss of medical benefits and moreit's time to lift up our burdened heads to see the stars in times of darkness.
"Perhaps dark times like these will shed light on all the mistakes we've made. When we vote for a politician, we'll do our best to be smart voters and not elect folk who may have tendencies to sell bootlegged senatorial seats or get caught on booty calls with pretty call girls. And maybe next time, some of us won't become so fascinated with a celebrity hockey mom/politician who uses a plumber's name as a catch phrase.
"When you look up to the sky, look for the star of hope for better days ahead in 2009 and beyond, an idea that a history-making president-elect and a beloved civil rights leader remind of us. It sure would be cool if the president-elect's image was included in that picture of J.F.K., M.L.K. and R.F.K. Maybe, one day.
"Join me, Big Roscoe, Lil' Momma Roscoe and the whole Clubb Chicken Wing Hospitality Staff, as we ring in the New Year at Clubb Chicken Wing. The theme for our New Year celebration is: 'High Hopes '09.' Drinks are 50 cents until midnight. And look for the After Midnight All Night Long Hot Wing Buffet.
"The 'High Hopes '09' celebration starts promptly at 9 p.m.
