I watched the game at my sister's house, and I was practically standing on the couch when Plaxico made that winning catch. It was so gutwrenching seeing the same score of NY-3, NE-7 for most of the game. Anyway, how about those commercials? My favorite is probably the one with the lizards dancing to "Thriller".

The best play of the game was Eli breaking all the tackles and passing to David Tyree to keep the their last drive alive. I don't see how David didn't keep from breaking his back when he caught the ball. What a catch!

I wasn't really cheering for a particular team, but I also thought it would be nice if the underdog won. By the way, I loved those segments with the football robot and the Terminator.

I was pulling for the Giants because of the Mississippi connection. I've met Archie, Eli and Peyton before; they're as nice as they come.

Yeah, Peyton looked thrilled. :-) I had trouble choosing a team because they were both from the East coast. Usually, if one team is from the West and the other is from the East, I pick the team from the East.

I don't see how David didn't keep from breaking his back when he caught the ball. I couldn't believe The Escape. If Eli's sacked, I think the game is more than likely over for the Giants and the Pats win. And Tyree's catch was just as jaw-dropping.

CNN link In one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history, Manning, New York's unlikely Mr. Cool, hit Plaxico Burress on a 13-yard fade with 35 seconds left. It was the Giants' fourth consecutive postseason away win and the first time the Patriots tasted defeat in more than a year. ... After Brady found Randy Moss for a 6-yard touchdown with 2:42 to go, New England's defense couldn't stop a final, frantic 12-play, 83-yard drive. It featured Manning's unlikely sack-avoiding scramble and a spectacular leaping catch by David Tyree , who had scored New York's first touchdown on the opening drive of the fourth quarter. ''It's the greatest feeling in professional sports,'' Burress said before bursting into tears. Also, if you're a fan of the Super Bowl ads and missed any of them, go here to play them and vote for your favorite.

One of the best Superbowls I've ever watched. The joy for me besides The Escape was just watching Brady and his precious team getting shut down for the most part. I'm proud of Eli for pulling off a memorable win against the odds that suggests he is destined to be one of the legends of the NFL.

...and to think that the coach had to BEG to keep his job and it had been suggested that Eli would be traded. The world had it all TWISTED; however, another Manning prevailed. My hat goes off to the NYGs and to one of the most exciting games I've ever watched!

Oh yeah, another commercial I liked: The Coke commercial with the parade balloons. The Stewie balloon and the Underdog balloon were fighting over the Coke bottle balloon, but it got away from them, and the Charlie Brown balloon snuck up from being a highrise and caught it. I'm so glad ol' Chuck finally caught something. :-)

I had NO trouble picking a team to root for & what a game! "The Catch" was fantastic. My fav commercial would is a toss up between the Planters cashews and watching Justin Timberlake have his crotch banged against the mailbox post 3 times.

sharon, ROTFL! I just saw a repeat of a commercial I really thought was funny: the one about the guy at an interview with the talking coffee stain on his shirt.

What a game. Congratulations to the Giants, Eli, Plax, Tyree, and - in my opinion - the real MVPs - the entire Giants Defensive Line. Were they awesome or what.

I agree about the defensive line, Jennifer. They didn't let the Pats score for the rest of the game. I was freaking out because the board didn't move for so long and I wanted to see some more touchdowns. I would be the one craving drama. :-P

Eli finally showed he has that rare stuff that makes champions. I said earlier that 2 of the three Mannings didn't have that kind of prowess. Somebody finally pressured superman Brady into being quite human. I caught myself wanting the Patriots (who I hate) to win at the end to keep from hearing all of the Mannings talk. However, the Giants' defense was just as valuable or more than Eli. Nontheless Eli showed he, like Peyton, has his mother's great genes when he escaped and made that throw that set up Plaxoco later for the touchdown. Like me, Michael Strahan is a Texas Southern University grauduate which is why he's so good.

Eli grew up and started playing real football.....and Ray, you're wrong for *that* crack about 2 of the 3. I was Giants all the way, and it was because of Eli (I'm a little prejudiced). Eli did a little too much playing around instead of playing in college, but a lot of guys do that. Now we see what he's made of, and it's pure football. I have a friend in Indiana who is sick of all the Manning hoopla, but I'm not. :-) The whole family's a class act. Doncha wonder if those boys got pacifiers when they were babies or if they started right out with mouthpieces?

I was wrong CW. Eli proved he has that rare stuff that separates the men from the boys. Surely, he got it from his mother's side of the family.

Nice to hear from you. :-) Ray, since you want to claim Michaal Strahan as one of your own, did you see that Howard Dean impression of his at the victory parade on the news? "And we're going to Tampa, and Green Bay..."
