You will be seeing the Southern Miss football team on TV a lot this fall. The Eagles' game with Auburn on Sept. 6 (11:30 a.m., Ch. 12) is the fifth USM game chosen for the tube so far.

Southern Miss Adds Fifth Television Game for 2008 Football Schedule
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss will play a fifth game on television this fall as it was announced that the Sept. 6, football game at Auburn has been picked up by Raycom Sports.
The game is slated for 11:30 a.m., at Jordan-Hare Stadium and will be available to multiple television affiliates in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast region.
The Golden Eagles also will be shown on television nationally twice via CBS College Sports as the Oct. 11 Boise State and Oct. 25 Memphis contests will be aired. Both games are slated for 7 p.m., kickoffs.
Southern Miss has an additional two regionally televised games on CSS (Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast) as the Sept. 20 Marshall and Nov. 1 UAB contests will be broadcast. The Marshall game is slated for a 2:30 p.m., kickoff, while UAB is at 7 p.m.
