Bridgitte Krupke, producer of a documentary tentatively titled "Red State Blues" will be in Jackson on March 9 and 10, and she is looking for people to interview.
DOCUMENTARY LOOKING FOR PEOPLE
We are going to be in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi at the
beginning of March and are looking for a diverse group of individuals
who are willing to share their opinions of our current government,
issues surrounding the next presidential election and how that affects
you as an individual.
The hope would be to gain some perspective on how people across
America view the direction our country is going in and whether or not
they feel they are an active and effective part of the political
process, as well as what issues being fought over in the race to the
white house are most important to you.
We are not looking to push any specific point of view, but we are
looking for honest opinions. In the end we hope this project will be
an honest portrayal of our country and the vastly different views and
opinions that define us as a nation. We are not connected with any
political party, politician or news organization, but rather 2
filmmakers trying to find our voices and discover why it is now more
important than ever to understand and participate in our political
system. Please take a look at our website, which is still under
construction. If you or anyone you know might be interested in
participating in our documentary please take a look at our current
schedule and contact me at the email listed below. Feel free to repost
this, especially if you have connections in the following locations.
As an side note, we have recieved feedback that our current working
title "Red State Blues" may be perceived as biased, please know that
this is only a working title, and we are potentially going to adjust
it to reflect our impartial position with this project.
Austin, TX - 3/3 - 3/5
New Orleans, LA - 3/7-3/8
Gulfport, MS - 3/8-3/9
Jackson, MS - 3/9-3/10

Much Thanks,
Bridgitte Krupke

I was going to say it looked extremely liberal from his website. I'd feel out of place commenting in a documentary like that.

Iron, the people filming the documentary are doing this from a neutral point of view. That's why they are considering a new movie title. We are not looking to push any specific point of view, but we are looking for honest opinions. I'm supposed to meet with one of the filmmakers this evening during or after the Obama rally at JSU. I'll tell you how it goes. Next stop: Hollywood!

That's great, golden! The interview went great yesterday. Bridgitte and Graeme are sweethearts. You'll feel comfortable talking to them. They also told me how nice everyone has been to them during their time in MS, so that's a good thing.

I'll also mention that Darren Schwindamin did an awesome job answering questions. He sounded about forty years older than what he actually is!

Graeme is the person I'll be speaking with. Bridgitte won't be there. I know I will do well. After all, I do have a face for the camera!

Oh, good grief. LOL Graeme shouldn't be hard to find. He sort of looks like Steven Spielberg with his baseball cap and beard. Don't tell him I said that. :-P

I saw his picture on the website. He's supposed to call me today. If for some reason we can't meet today, we'll try tomorrow.
