As they did with Senator Hillary Clinton last week, WJTV plans to live-stream the video from Senator Barack Obama's appearance at JSU later this evening. WJTV's e-mail anticipates that things will get underway around 7pm. The viewer widget is below the fold.

I saw some of the footage of the crowd on Channel 12. Whoa. I also saw footage of Obama arriving at JSU. Double whoa. I wonder what he's going to say.

I was there. The AAC was already packed to capacity by the time I made it there. I ended up at the auditorium, where the overflow crowd was directed to go. Obama came there first and was out in about five minutes. My brother goes to JSU and he said there was a line of folks all the way to Valley St. when he got out of his 2pm class. I wish I could've been in the AAC, but it was still great just being there.

I was there, too. Fun. I will admit that I waltzed in the side media door at 6:45 and went straight to the media podium. Sorry to admit that. ;-) But I do take a lot of public pinata punches on y'all's behalf, so I'm due a break now and then. Amazing the stuff most media leave out in campaign coverage. He said so much more than appears in the lamesteam, which is all about the horse race.

I wanted to go, but I knew that getting in that auditorium would be difficult, so I just watched from home. I made myself an MP3 recording as a memento. It's not perfect since the feed got hung up a few times and you can probably hear the phone ring and my niece holler out something, but it's mine. :-)
