The summer of 1975 just may be the pinnacle of the classic rock era. Warren Zevon's self-titled major label debut from that summer was produced by friend and fellow rock icon Jackson Browne; and this re-issue is well worth the $25 double-disc for any fan. In fact any fan of "Werewolves of London" will dig this precursor, as the highlight of Zevon's catalog. Included on the album is "Hasten Down The Wind," "Poor Pitiful Me," "Carmelita" and "Mohammed's Radio." This Rhino Collector's Edition reissue was remastered flawlessly, with a bonus disc of unreleased demos and alternate versions of every track on the album. The two-CD set is out now.
