Did you also hear about the 106-year-old nun who is voting for Obama?

All, pray for Obama's grandmother (click for photos). She is seriously ill, and Obama is leaving the campaign trail to visit her in Hawaii.

Absolutely. I hate to hear of anyone being close to the end, but even more that Obama's grandmother may not be able to live to see her grandson be elected president and it's only 15 days away.

My heart goes out to Obama and his family, and I wish his grandmother well. This reminds me of my maternal grandmother who passed away in 1992 (her birthday was on the 18th). She played a major role in our childhood because she lived with us and took care of the four of us while our parents worked, so we never saw the inside of a daycare center. It's a blessing that Obama's grandmother is still able to think clearly in her senior years and is being so well taken care of. My grandmother spent the last seven years of her life on the decline due to Alzhiemer's, and she was also abused in the nursing home. My grandma used to say, "I ain't goin' nowhere 'til the good Lord get ready for me." I don't know if it's Ms. Dunham's time to go or not, but I believe that either way, she will be at peace knowing that she helped raise a grandson that will change the world for the better.
