Freshman quarterback Dominick Britt, the centerpiece of Jackson State's 2008 football recruiting class, has left the team. Britt was the highest-rated JSU recruit in years, but he never got on the field for the Tigers.

If The Ledge's story is correct, it sounds like Britt became "homesick" almost as soon as he arrived on campus. Or maybe he was mad that he didn't earn the starting job. You're right, Walt, the Tigers have QB problems.

I understand Doctor S, but we need the boy here playing football - not missing his mother. He needs to grow up and get his butt back to Jackson. JSU needs a quarterback almost as bad as MSU.
