"I want to thank my fellow associates for their support and for realizing that we really can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate," said Shari. "While we always hope to raise more money than we did the year before, it's equally important to have everyone participate and together we can have a profound impact on the lives of our neighbors.
Shari spoke about the 2008 United Way campaign on numerous occasions during weekly sales meetings at the Ridgeland Crye-Leike office. She incorporated text messages and emails along with face-to-face conversations to communicate the need to help in some way and for the office to reach a goal of 100% participation.
"The people of the State of Mississippi have been especially hard hit by recent hurricanes and other disasters, and that's a fact everyone here can relate to," said Shari. "I'm a persistent person on matters like this, just as I am with my business and career, and I won't stop until I reach my goal."

"If I'm not busy selling real estate, I'm probably working on a fundraising project to help someone in the community," said Shari. "While some people might consider my business to be about houses, it's really about helping people and I'm truly committed to doing that as a Realtor and as an involved professional in my community."
