Ole Miss is ranked No. 10 in the USA Today/Coaches preseason football poll. It's the Rebels' highest ranking in a preseason poll since 1964, when the Rebels started the season ranked No. 1.
Other SEC teams in the poll include defending BCS champion Florida, which is No. 1, No. 5 Alabama, No. 10 LSU and No. 13 Georgia. The Rebels play Alabama and LSU this season.
Ole Miss opens the season on Sept. 6 at Memphis (2:30 p.m., ESPN, 97.3 FM).
