The Jackson Free Press is proud to announce the second annual edition of BOOM Jackson magazine. Billed as a "love-letter to Jackson," the publication is a full-color, high-quality, 84-page publication distributed throughout the city, targeted to visitors and those looking at Jackson to move their families or businesses into the area.

"BOOM Jackson focuses entirely on the city," said publisher Todd Stauffer. "Jackson is growing despite the current economic climate, and this magazine highlights the people and businesses making that growth happen."

The magazine is divided into four sections—work, live, play and visit—each featuring unique and diverse stories that only Jackson and Jacksonians can tell. From the business people who have been here for 20 years and more, to the sparkling new convention complex, new developments coming on line, the King Edward and Farish Street, parades, museums, galleries and more, BOOM shows a holistic and optimistic picture of Jackson not available through any other media.

The magazine is sponsored by organizations with a vested interest in Jackson: Downtown Jackson Partners, the Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, the HRI Properties / Watkins Partners venture (commonly known as HRI Watkins) and the Hinds County Economic Development District. Each sponsor will distribute the magazine to clients and potential clients. Other distribution avenues include local hotels, recruiters and waiting rooms throughout the city.
