The City of Jackson Solid Waste Divisions will hold its next Roll-off Dumpster Day - Saturday, January 10, 2009. Residents can take yard debris and other household items to one of the below locations:
Yes:
Garbage, rubbish, yard debris and other household items
No: Tires, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, gas tanks or Chemicals
When:
Saturday, January 10, 2009 8a.m. - 3 p.m., weather Permitting
Where:
Ward 1 Holly Drive (east off Manhattan Road, 1 south off Northside Drive
Ward 2 Virgie P. Middleton Center, 3971 Flag Chapel Road
Ward 3 Commerce Park @ Stonewall Street
Ward 4 Westside Community Center, 1450 Wiggins Road
Ward 5 Isabel Elementary School, 1716 Isable Street (near Hill Street)
Ward 6 Sykes Community Center, 520 Sykes Road
Ward 7 Greymont & Moody Streets
Rules:
Participants are required to place debris inside dumpsters
Businesses are not allowed to participate
Residents outside the Jackson area are not allowed to participate (Proof of residency may be required).
