Yay! Congrats, MSU! Now I can cheer for them in the NCAA... until they play UK. :)

MSU will play against Washington on Thursday. Sorry, Lady, UK didn't make the tourney. In fact, LSU and Tennessee were the only other SEC teams to make it. However, since you're a Kentuckian, you would be happy to know that Louisville (#1 seed in Midwest), Western Kentucky and Morehead State did make it.

Like I said, if you've got to remember how to play, the tournament is the time to bring the "A" game.

golden eagle: Sadly, I just found that out. Louisville, however, is a great alternative to root for. I won't be disappointed if State wins, though. Kentucky's waiting for NIT results. I think this may be Coach Gillespie's last season with the Cats.

Unless he decides to leave now, I'd give Gillespie one more year and if he can't get over the hump, then he's gone. I don't Louisville, so I'm rooting against them unless they happen to play North Carolina or Duke.

Lanier: Book 'em, Danno. They're headed to meet Texas in NC this week. Smith's problem never has been Coaching, it's been keeping control of his players off court. He couldn't make his Kentucky players behave for anything off-court. Pitino, on the other hand, would and did kick people off the team for screwing up.
