Miss Doodle-Mae: "Looks like this summer is just another memory. And what a time it wasa period of anxiety, fear, hatred, and doubt mixed with hope, perseverance and patience. As the seasons change, the staff at Jojo's Discount Dollar Store appears to be a little confidentthanks to the ghetto stimulus package. Also, I was glad to witness my employer smile after reading the following headline in The Ghetto Science Team Journal: 'Global Economy Gains Steam.'
"Despite the white hot anger of misguided and misinformed people combined with the luke-warm supporters of change, Jojo, the staff and I have a little more swagger while we work because we see a small ray of light ahead. The economic stimulus package and the diligent efforts of concerned individuals in political places have made it possible for the common man and woman to survive a global economic crisis.
"So, if you see me, Jojo or any staff member boogying down the aisles of Jojo's Discount Dollar Store, it's because we want to experience more positive change, plus we're jamming to a few verses from Earth, Wind and Fire's "September:"
Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day " And don't forget the store wide 'Dancing in September' sale at Jojo's Discount Dollar Store!"
