Gov. Haley Barbour signed a bill on March 15 giving rural counties authority to regulate strip clubs. House Bill 170 demands supervisors publish and post notice of any proposed ordinance change impacting strip clubs at least 20 days prior to the holding of a public hearing on the ordinance.
The Senate sent the bill to governor late last week after a debate surrounding a strip club called The Pony, near West Point, which features a distracting statue of a well-endowed horse--that prompted locals to complain to legislators.

HA, I was up that way for work last week and saw that place as we drove from Starkville to Tupelo. It is a rather large horse!

Sounds as if these "Strip Club Owners" need to call in the dogs and pi$$ on the fire because striping is over. LOL! Can you imagine a hearing here in even the most progressive "rural county" ruling favorable for a strip club?
